 We got settled into our new home at the beginning of October and I was sure I would be off to a different farmer’s market every weekend. I would fill our fridge and cupboards with an abundance of BC’s finest local produce and products. Yum yummity! I could barely wait to find my shopping basket... Verge Permaculture held this Permaculture Design Course from June 5 – 19th this year. Twelve of us attended this 2 week course at the Mountain Waters Retreat Centre in Nelson, BC and came from as far away as Vancouver, Ontario, Washington State and... show 3 comments  We were packed and ready to embark on our adventure. For two weeks we would be attending a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) put on by Verge Permaculture at The Mountain Waters Retreat Centre in Nelson, BC. Aaah, the Kootenays.
